"Power of People's Movements against Anti-People Fronts" - Join to make SUCI (Communist) Candidates Victorious

Kerala is moving to yet another exercise of Elections to the State Assembly. The political fronts existing for last 3 decades, are still there for another competition to grab power. The dirty, degenerate and rotten politics and its dramas, shameless quarrels for seats, sacking people from other side, mud-sledging between opponents not only between parties but also from within, all these nauseating scenes are again repeated. Array of inaugurations of new projects, new promises, blame games, all happening right when elections are around the corner. Same old tactics aiming only for election victory. And after the elections, all the promises and good faces will be thrown away into dust bins and people will be cheated again.
Relief for common man cannot be expected in this degenerate vote-bank politics and switching of fronts every 5 years. It is well evident that all these fronts are having no difference at all in the their policies and opinions and are equally anti-people. Choosing one of them is not going to change the system. The only option for people is the politics of mass movements through their own struggle committees. When those fronts which share power in alternate terms comes up with anti-people programs, people should rise against it by forming their own struggle movements and make those governments follow the right track.

The Politics of Mass Movements and SUCI

SUCI (Communist), the only genuine Communist Party in India, is fighting endlessly, shoulder-in-shoulder with those exploited or oppressed by anti-people programs or so called development by private capital, with an aim of joining people together to rise themselves in mass movements. All the major mass movements happened in Kerala for more than a decade now has SUCI as an active participant or holding leadership role. Whether it is movement against disastrous DPEP scheme to protect public education, or against VAT, SUCI was there in the forefront. The proposed privatised development scheme for National Highways in the state through BOT model, affecting nearly 25 lakh people (2.5 million) displayed the power of popular mass struggle across the state. SUCI has a major role in growing this as a mass movement of such magnitude. The protests against evacuations in Moolampilly, Vizhinjam and all had SUCI in its leadership. The popular movement against the destructive Liquor Policy of state government had hundreds of volunteers from the organisation to lead from the front.
SUCI is viewing the elections also as another platform for mass movements. Hence it is the duty of each one of us, who believe in upholding politics of highest democratic values, against exploitations and oppressions, to support this high valued politics put forward by SUCI and work for the victory of SUCI Communist candidates.
